Just had a text from Anton to say they have finished Ben Nevis in 4hrs 40mins!
Hopefully more info soon, once he has had a chance to catch his breath and have a shower.

A tremendous effort and well done to everyone on board Kithros 11. It has been nerve wracking watching from a distance, so I cannot think what it must have been like actually being there. I emailed the BBC Breakfast programme at one point to suggest they covered the 3 Peaks Yacht Race instead of the Round Britain Power Boat Race – which they described as ‘gruelling’. What do they know!

Well done Anton! Certainly didn’t envy you being out in the North Channel in a gale!

Just got home to Devon after a very long day on the motorway. What a fantastic experience the race was.
I’m a bit fuddled but wanted to say well done for the
news feed Becca and Andrew. It was really good for morale on board which most of the time was excellent. Our captain was rock solid and the crew had a laugh despite the gales, rocks, torn sails and wet bunks. I’m sorry about the wild broaching it was all my fault as usual. Also special thanks to Bridget and Jake for the support which was a really tough job with two consecutive overnight runs. Unlike the runners who slept and ate all day they had to drive miles and track us down. Also the food at Corpach. Thanks Bill for inviting me can I come again?
