“Finished scafell. We started off late at night and did the bike and blacksail pass by headtorch. Luckily the sun rose for scafell itself and we did the wasdale head section in 3.5 hours. The rest of the section wasn’t so good, and we finished in anout 11 hours. Currently tired and showered, and heading back out. Ben Nevis here we come!”

Well done Anton and Colin a great performance! It must have been really tough in the dark. You gained over 2 hours on some of the boats ahead of you. I am glad the well rested sailors at least allowed you to have a shower before buffeting you once more in their boat. Try to perswade Kate that spinnakers only make you go fast when they are full of wind and not in a heap broken down below!

Well done Anton from everyone here at Sue Ryder Care. This is an amazing challenge and we are watching your progress with much interest and admiration. If you get the chance do say hello to Catherine on the Kilva team. She is also supporting Sue Ryder Care.
