A few things to update on (I’ve been out for the afternoon, sorry).

Kithros II is still neck and neck with Paget’s Lady. Anton has said that they did leave Whitehaven at the same time, but that he and Colin are cleaner, as they had showers and the PL runners didn’t!

And an update from the sailing side:

“The big spinnaker was completely destroyed when the sailing team, with Bill resting below, tried to get maximum speed!  Fortunately they have a second spinnaker which although slightly smaller is fine.  They are expecting a pleasant force 4 to 5 today but nasty gales tomorrow. They have filled up with fresh fruit in Tesco to reduce the chance of scurvy if the final trip takes longer than predicted!  The sailors think it is the runners and shore crews who are the heros and heroines as the sailors  get pleasant sails and sleep at night unlike the others! Morale seems very good aboard Kithros II”
